An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Administrative Lead to join a large WA public sector organisation on a temporary contract through to July 2027.
In this role, you will provide high-level project administration and coordination support across a portfolio of strategic initiatives. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will help drive project delivery, maintain governance processes, and ensure the smooth execution of key programs of work.
Your new role
- Coordinate and support project activities across multiple streams of work
- Monitor project timelines, milestones and deliverables
- Prepare project documentation, reports and status updates
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and stakeholder communications
- Maintain project schedules, action registers and governance records
- Support project planning and delivery using Microsoft Planning tools
- Manage document control and collaboration through SharePoint
- Provide leadership and guidance to administrative support functions within the project environment
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in project coordination, project support or project administration roles
- Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting complex projects within government or large organisations
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including experience with Microsoft Planning Suite tools
- Strong SharePoint administration and document management capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
