About the Business

Epoxy Warehouse Pty Ltd is a trusted Australian supplier of premium epoxy flooring systems and protective coatings. We provide high-quality products for a wide range of construction projects, from residential homes to large-scale commercial and industrial spaces. While we have a strong physical warehouse presence for our trade and DIY customers, a significant and growing portion of our daily sales is driven through our e-commerce stores. With our online platforms now playing such a central role in how we operate and serve our customers across the country, keeping our web systems running smoothly is a top priority for the business.

About the Role

We are seeking a Web Administrator to manage and maintain the company's websites, e-commerce applications and related online systems. The role involves website customisation, technical troubleshooting, domain configuration, website performance monitoring, integration management and technical support for business applications and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customise, update and maintain the company’s Shopify and WooCommerce websites to improve navigation, site performance and overall customer experience.

  • Configure and maintain website domain settings, DNS records and SSL certificate settings to support secure connections and reliable website operation.
  • Configure and maintain website applications, payment gateways and third-party integrations to support the functionality of the company's Shopify and WooCommerce stores.

  • Manage bulk product data imports and exports using CSV files, ensuring accurate product information and inventory synchronisation across platforms.
  • Implement and maintain website backup processes to support website data protection and recovery.
  • Monitor website traffic, user behaviour, and site performance using tools like Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate website bugs, integration issues and technical problems, implementing fixes where possible and coordinating with external developers and software providers when required.
  • Maintain website application configurations, access permissions and relevant security settings, and assist with website updates and technical improvements.
  • Provide supporting IT administration and technical assistance for staff accounts, workstations, POS equipment, printers and office connectivity as required.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Web Development, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • At least one year of relevant professional experience in web administration or a closely related field.
  • Experience administering, customising and maintaining Shopify and WooCommerce websites, including working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Shopify Liquid.
  • Experience configuring website applications, payment gateways, third-party integrations, domain settings and DNS.
  • Knowledge of website data management, bulk CSV imports and exports, website migrations, analytics and SEO tools, including Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage website maintenance and technical issues independently.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with staff, management, software providers and external developers.

If you have hands-on web systems experience, enjoy solving technical problems and are passionate about using technology to improve business operations, we would love to hear from you. We are particularly interested in hearing about practical examples of web system improvements, integrations, or technical solutions you have personally implemented.
