Your new company:Hays Recruitment is partnering with a reputable electrical contractor experiencing strong growth across the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast regions. With a steady pipeline of commercial, industrial and residential projects, our client is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team.
Your new role:As a Qualified Electrician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installations, maintenance and fault-finding works across various projects. Your duties will include:
- Electrical installation and fit-off works
- Testing, fault-finding and commissioning
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to Australian Standards
- Maintaining a high standard of expertise on site
What you'll need to succeed:To be successful in this role, you will have:
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Current White Card
- Driving Licence and reliable transport
- Experience in commercial, industrial or residential electrical work
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Desirable but not required:
- Elevated Work Platform Ticket
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- LVR/CPR
- Current High Risk Work Licences
