Based in Brisbane, this role offers exposure to overseas operations and stakeholders, making it ideal for someone looking to build a career in global finance. This position would suit a Big 4 / audit trained candidate or someone with a strong technical accounting foundation looking to transition into a commercially focused role.
Your new roleReporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, analysis and compliance across international business units.Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the monthly reporting cycle, including detailed reviews of overseas entities
- Partnering with international finance teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Assisting with audit and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Providing in-depth financial and business analysis to stakeholders
- Contributing to systems, controls and process improvements across the region
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
- CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
- 3+ years experience, ideally from a Big 4 / audit background or similar technical environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Excel capability
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Fluent Mandarin (essential) for engagement with regional stakeholders
