Community Support Worker Level 1 Carer
- Support clients in their homes with domestic assistance.

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time position offering up to 40 hours per fortnight, with opportunities for additional hours following probation Remuneration: $34.56 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging to maximise your take home pay + $1.01 per kilometre travel reimbursement
Location: West Metro Melbourne Region, VIC
Support clients in their homes across one of two service areas, either Melton and surrounding suburbs or Werribee and surrounding suburbs, including locations such as Caroline Springs, Sunshine, Hoppers Crossing, Point Cook, Altona and Williamstown.
Available to work at least 3-4 days per week, with Tuesday, Thursday and Friday availability preferred

How You'll Support Our Clients
• Help keep clients' homes clean, safe and comfortable by providing domestic assistance. Duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, changing bed linen, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and general household tidying
• Build meaningful connections with clients through genuine companionship and person centred care to help maintain their wellbeing, dignity, independence and quality of life
• Enjoy the freedom and variety of a community-based role, using your own vehicle to support clients in their homes and travel between visits, with $1.01/km travel reimbursement on top of your hourly rate
What Makes You a Great Fit
• A valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle
• Willing and able to travel to, and between clients' homes, including trips of up to 60 minutes across the community
• Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain
• COVID-19 vaccination (highly desirable)
• Willingness to complete a Nationally Coordinated Police Check
