ABOUT THE PRACTICE

Our client is a brand-new, purpose-built Urgent Care clinic filling the vital gap between general practice and emergency departments. Their state-of-the-art facility provides timely, walk-in medical care for acute, non-life-threatening conditions, allowing patients to bypass crowded hospital EDs.

While they serve a diverse local community of all ages, our client has a distinct paediatric focus and a highly collaborative, clinically robust culture shaped by their Rural Generalist founders. To support efficient, single-shift outcomes, doctors are backed by an exceptional, experienced nursing triage team and premium on-site diagnostics, including on-site X-ray, child friendly pathology, and a dedicated fracture clinic twice a week.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a dynamic, shift-based role designed for clinicians who thrive on the immediacy and variety of acute medicine without the administrative burden of chronic disease management.

• The Caseload: You will manage a diverse mix of same-day presentations, including minor injuries (fractures, sprains, lacerations), acute infections, respiratory complaints, abdominal pain, and minor procedural wound care.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking adaptable, clinically confident doctors who enjoy teamwork and making a tangible impact in a short timeframe.

• General or Specialist registration with AHPRA.

• Background in General Practice with strong procedural skills, Emergency Medicine, or Rural Generalism. An interest or experience in paediatrics is highly valued.

• Strong clinical judgment, procedural competence (e.g., suturing, splinting, minor procedures), and comfort managing acuity and uncertainty in a resource-conscious environment.

• Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to high-quality patient experiences.
