We're looking for a talented, driven Payroll Projects Team Lead to join us for a 6-month fixed-term contract for the team with the possibility of an extension. As a part of a highly collaborative and motivated team, we would love to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Lead a small, dedicated team of two Senior Payroll Analysts
- Manage complex payroll claims, calculations, adjustments and remediation
- Identify payroll risks and recommend practical solutions
- Focus heavily on payroll remediation, compliance initiatives, and continuous process improvements
- Report directly to the Payroll Manager
What you'll bring:
- Advanced knowledge and experience in end-to-end payroll as well as payroll remediation with large complex organisations
- Experience working with complex payroll datasets and undertaking detailed reconciliations and calculations
- Possess strong analytical and investigative capacity with the ability to connect the dots across data, systems, processes and employment conditions
- Payroll testing experience desirable
- Capable of communicating at a technical level
- Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills essential
- Experience in Aurion and/or PeopleSoft highly desirable
- Preferably based in Brisbane (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
- Must be an Australian Citizen
