An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated automotive professional to join a successful and growing multi-franchise dealership operation in Port Hedland, Western Australia.

We are seeking a hands-on Service Manager who can lead from the front, drive workshop performance, build strong customer relationships, and develop a high-performing aftersales team.

About the Role

Reporting to senior dealership management, you will take full responsibility for the daily operations and performance of the service department.

You will lead a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Workshop Staff while ensuring exceptional customer service, workshop efficiency, and overall departmental profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily service department operations
• Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability
• Lead, mentor, and develop service and workshop teams
• Ensure outstanding customer service and aftersales support
• Monitor workflow, repair quality, and workshop performance
• Manage customer concerns and deliver positive outcomes
• Develop strategies to improve service sales and profitability
• Manage departmental KPIs, budgets, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety standards
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

About You

• Previous experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or similar automotive leadership role
• Strong understanding of dealership service operations and workshop management
• Automotive trade qualification highly regarded
• Proven leadership skills within a fast-paced dealership environment
• Strong customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to manage teams, workflow, and performance targets effectively
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience using dealership management systems advantageous
