Looking for a part-time role with great experience and flexible afternoon hours?
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent school leaver, university or TAFE student, or anyone looking to gain experience in administration and the transport and logistics industry.
You'll be working in a busy freight terminal, supporting our operations team with administration tasks and helping keep freight moving across our road and rail network.
No experience in logistics? That's okay. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who is keen to learn.
What You'll Be Doing:
Data entry and maintaining records
Preparing simple reports
Responding to emails and enquiries
Processing transport paperwork
Assisting with daily administration tasks
Communicating with truck drivers, reachstack operators, and staff
Supporting the day-to-day operation of the terminal
About You,
-We're looking for someone who:
-Has good computer skills
-Is organised and pays attention to detail
-Has good communication skills
-Is punctual, reliable, and eager to learn
-Can work independently and as part of a team
-Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Previous administration experience is helpful but not required.
Any experience or knowledge of transport, logistics, warehousing, freight, or supply chain operations would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
This role would be well suited to:
-Recent school leavers
-University or TAFE students
-Someone looking to gain office administration experience
-Anyone interested in a future career in transport or logistics
Hours of Work:
-Monday to Friday
-2:00pm to 6:30pm
-The afternoon hours work well around study commitments and provide consistent weekly work.
