Multiple SAP ABAP & S/4 HANA Engineers
Senior Software Engineer | SAP S/4HANA & Technical Leadership
Lead complex software development projects within a major Australian Government technology environment. This EL1-equivalent role offers technical leadership responsibilities across software design, development, release and deployment, with preferred experience in SAP S/4HANA, UI5, ABAP, Angular and Node.js.
Location: Brisbane, QLD | Canberra, ACT | Melbourne, VIC
Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first 6 weeks, with hybrid working arrangements potentially available thereafter.
Contract Duration: 12 months, up to a maximum of 24 months.
Security Clearance Requirement: Current Baseline clearance.
Essential Tasks
- Lead complex software development projects, providing technical direction, mentoring and guidance to engineering teams.
- Design, develop, test and maintain software solutions while ensuring code quality, security and compliance with development standards.
- Oversee software releases, deployment planning, production support and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate technical requirements, recommend solutions and drive successful project delivery.
Key Criteria
- Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams and delivering complex enterprise software solutions.
- Strong expertise in software design, programming, configuration management, release management and deployment practices.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, UI5, ABAP, Angular or Node.js is highly regarded.
- Experience in government or similarly large-scale organisations, with strong technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.
