Heavy Diesel Fitter

CoreStaff is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters and Mechanics for a major civil and demolition business based in Adelaide.

About the Role   
We have two full time opportunities available:

Crushing Yard Mechanic
Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Workshop Mechanic
Sunday to Thursday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm

These are hands on positions suited to experienced tradespeople who are confident servicing, diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment within a busy civil, demolition or crushing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair heavy vehicles, mobile plant and crushing equipment
• Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise operational downtime
• Maintain accurate records while delivering safe, high quality workmanship

About You

• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
• Experienced with heavy vehicles, civil plant or crushing equipment
• Confident completing diagnostics, fault finding and major repairs
• Reliable, safety focused and able to work independently
• Current driver’s licence with the ability to complete pre employment screening
