Impact Drill & Blast offers integrated drill and blast services to the quarrying, civil and mining sectors, covering every stage of the project from survey, blast design, mark out, drilling and bulk explosives supply to firing of blasts. 

About this opportunity

We are rapidly growing in this industry, as part of this growth our Marraki site, based in the Northern Territory, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator to join their team

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Completion of all required production QA and product QC checks. 
  • Conducting inspections and QC on packaged products; recording and reporting conformance to standards. 
  • Accurately record all raw material inventory and use. 
  • Assist the Marrakai plant supervisor to achieve effective management of environmental compliance and site security, including the delivery of the weekly production schedule on time and in full. 
  • Safe handling and storage all hazardous substances and dangerous goods on site. 
  • Assist with plant maintenance and servicing including SCE compliance and on time completion. 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Current drivers licence
  • Construction white card
  • Work safely and follow Health and Safety policies and procedures E.g Take 5, risk assessments
  • Previous knowledge on the quarrying / mining industry is highly desirable
  • Experience in a manufacturing plant
