Our client is a global rail infrastructure specialist providing innovative products, services and technology solutions to support the construction, maintenance and monitoring of rail networks. Their expertise spans rail welding, track maintenance, inspection systems and asset management solutions, helping improve the safety, reliability and performance of rail infrastructure
What You Will Be Doing
They are currently seeking a skilled Factory Hand to join their team based in Clontarf. This is a long-term position, working Monday Friday 5:30am 1:30pm with some overtime on offer! Your main duties will be:
- Conducting Sandblasting duties onsite
- Operating the steel bandsaw and hydraulic drilling machines to cut and drill railway products.
- Assembling hot products together to customer specifications
- Assist in general production and manufacturing tasks
- Load, unload, and move materials and finished products around the factory using the forklift and overhead crane.
- Operating basic hand tools and production equipment
- Support machine operators with setup, feeding materials, and clearing outputs
- Perform quality checks (visual inspection for defects/damage)
- Pack, label, and prepare products for dispatch
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and following all site rules.
What You Will Need
- Drivers licence and reliable transport
- Forklift ticket and experience operating
- Previous experience in steel manufacturing, warehousing, or construction (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to follow instructions, work in a team environment and strong attention to detail.
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Basic communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required
