Transition Specialist

Talenza have been engaged by privately owned energy provider to find an IT Transition Lead to plan and coordinate a migration from an existing MSP to a new provider. They currently have; application managed services, EUC, infrastructure support and service desk outsourced.

This role requires 3 days per week in the Brisbane CBD office and is only open to candidates currently based in Brisbane with full working rights.

Key Requirements

• Experience coordinating and supporting ICT service transitions, particularly outsourced services across application managed services, end-user computing, infrastructure support and service desk.

• Working knowledge of IT service delivery and service management practices, including ITIL fundamentals, governance and operational reporting.

• Experience coordinating internal stakeholders, incumbent vendors and incoming service providers to support aligned transition activities and deliverables.

• Ability to develop, maintain and track detailed transition plans, including milestones, dependencies, timelines and deliverables.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical teams and manage expectations.

• Practical experience tracking transition risks, issues and actions, escalating concerns and supporting mitigation strategies to maintain service continuity.

• Understanding of ICT service environments, including applications, infrastructure and end-user services, and the operational requirements involved in transitioning them.

• Experience supporting knowledge transfer, service readiness, acceptance activities and the establishment of service management processes to ensure successful transition into operations.
