About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established leader in waste management and resource recovery, operating one of the regions most advanced Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) facility, where municipal solid waste (MSW) is processed into compost media.
Roster:
Monday to Friday: 6am 2pm (overtime can be available)
What you will be doing:
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the MBT facility.
- Operate site equipment including Terminal Tractor, Telehandler and Skid Steer.
- Perform general manual labouring and housekeeping duties.
- Assist with the efficient processing of municipal solid waste.
- Conduct daily equipment checks.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance tasks as required.
- Provide general operational support to the business unit.
- Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures.
- Work to required customer, safety and performance standards.
What you will need:
- Drivers licence Class C
- Operating machinery (desirable, not essential)
- Able to pass a National Police Clearance
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol testing
- Ability to work as part of a team
