What you'll do:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments.
Provide patient education and post-operative instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Manage inventory and order supplies.
Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for patients within our established community practice.
What we're looking for:
Proven customer service skills
Front desk reception experience
A passionate and reliable team player, ready to integrate into our long standing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for our community based practice.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of D4W (Dental for Windows) software.
D4W software experience is preferred, however comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or relevant experience
Certificate III in Dental Assisting can be obtained within 12 months of commencement if not already held.
Minimum of 1 year chairside dental assisting experience
Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
Demonstrated knowledge of dental sterilisation procedures and infection control protocols
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
