Dental Assistant - Orthodontics

We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics and orthodontics. Our nursing department is made up of experienced and junior dental nurses who are all committed to the day to day running of our practice.

The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity is available to join our successful orthodontic team as an experienced Orthodontic Nurse on a full-time basis at our beautiful practice located in the Manchester Unity Building. Your working hours will not include any late evenings or weekends. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled individual with great communication and people skills who loves a challenge.
Responsibilities:
- Chair side assisting for a wide range of treatment supporting our Orthodontic Therapists and Specialist Orthodontists.
- Maintaining infection control standards.
- Sterilisation procedures and room changeovers.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years dental experience.
- Specific work experience in Orthodontics.
- Good infection control knowledge.
- Knowledge of D4W and/or Orthotrac preferred but not essential.
- A high level of initiative and motivation.
- A drive to learn and flourish.
- The ability to integrate into a large practice and work with multiple practitioners.
Prior orthodontic experience is essential. Remuneration is negotiable and is based on experience within the industry. This position holds the opportunity for future growth and professional development.
