Demolitions Labourer

Core Talent is currently seeking experienced Demolition Labourers for ongoing work across a variety of commercial and residential projects throughout Brisbane's inner-city suburbs.
Working as a casual employee of Core Talent, you will be engaged on demolition and strip-out projects with reputable construction and demolition contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for hardworking labourers looking for consistent hours, competitive pay rates, and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects.

What's on Offer?

• $38 - $40 per hour + Superannuation
• Daily Travel Allowance
• Meal Allowance after 9.5 hours worked
• Overtime and Penalty Rates where applicable
• Full-time hours available
• Ongoing project opportunities across Brisbane
• Weekly pay cycle

Duties May Include:

• Internal strip-outs and soft demolition works
• Removal of walls, ceilings, flooring, fixtures and fittings
• Operating jackhammers, rotary hammers, demolition saws and power tools
• Loading and unloading demolition materials
• Manual handling and waste removal
• Assisting machine operators and site supervisors
• General site clean-up and maintaining safe work areas
• Working in accordance with site safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Demolition Labourer
• Proven experience using demolition and construction tools including:
  • Jackhammers
  • Rotary Hammers
  • Impact Drills
  • Demolition Saws
  • Angle Grinders
  • Reciprocating Saws
  • General Hand and Power Tools
• Current Construction White Card
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual labour
• Ability to work within a fast-paced construction environment
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
• Reliable transport and ability to travel to various Brisbane sites

• Asbestos Awareness Certificate
• Silica Awareness Training
• Working at Heights Ticket
• Confined Space Ticket
• Current Driver's Licence and Own Vehicle
• Additional construction tickets and licences
