About the Role
We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Customer Care Coordinator to join an established residential construction business on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is responsible for managing the front of house while overseeing the customer experience following the handover of new homes. You will coordinate post-handover communication, maintenance requests and the 90-day maintenance process, ensuring clients receive professional and timely service. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys building strong relationships, staying organised and taking ownership of customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for clients following handover
- Coordinate the 90-day maintenance process, inspections and required trades
- Maintain regular communication with clients at key post-handover stages
- Track maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Liaise with construction teams, trades, suppliers and contractors to resolve issues
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation and maintenance updates
- Coordinate weekly maintenance meetings and update relevant systems
- Manage reception, incoming calls, visitors, deliveries and general office administration
- Prepare handover folders, client gifts and documentation
- Maintain office records, databases, keys and vehicle documentation
- Assist with meetings, events, toolbox talks and other office activities
- Complete general administrative and ad hoc duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in reception and administration
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Cert IV in Administration, Customer Service or a related qualification is desirable
