The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Analyst to join one of Australia’s largest and most trusted businesses. Reporting to the Senior Credit Manager, this role plays a key part in assessing new customer applications, analysing financials and supporting credit decisions across a diverse portfolio.

The Challenge

The successful candidate will work alongside two Analysts and two Credit Managers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing financial and credit analysis for new and existing customers in line with corporate requirements.
  • Reviewing documentation, identifying information gaps and escalating higher-risk accounts as needed.
  • Applying an understanding of PPSR priorities, securities ranking and credit policy to support robust decision-making.
  • Partnering with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of applications.
  • Supporting compliance with company policies, EH&S requirements and relevant legislation.


The Expertise

  • 3–5 years’ experience in credit analysis or financial analysis, ideally gained within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, credit fundamentals and ability to assess risk in environments with commercial judgement rather than rigid policy.
  • Exposure to PPSR, AML or credit legislation advantageous.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence partnering with senior internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
  • Experience with SAP or large ERP systems beneficial.
