Council Parks & Gardens

The Role:

Hands on Garden Maintenance & Manual Labour
Basic gardening tasks, Mower, Whipper Snippering, Mulching, Pole Saw, Trimming & Edging.
Weed maintenance and spraying
Operating Ride on Mowers to maintain fields, parks and verges
Operating machinery to perform tree planting and tree care

Criteria:

White card
Current National Police Clearance (Required – Less than 3 months old)
Valid driver’s licence (Required, MR preferred)
Experience in the use of Ride on Mowers (TORO) (desirable)
Certificate III in Horticulture (Highly desirable)
Minimum 6 month’s experience within a landscaping role
Physically fit & Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
