Your new role
As the Procurement & Contracts Officer, you will support the delivery of compliant procurement, tendering and contract management processes while providing advice to internal stakeholders across the organisation.Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating RFQs, tenders and contract administration activities
- Supporting procurement processes in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Providing procurement and contract management advice to internal stakeholders
- Investigating contractual issues and recommending appropriate solutions
- Maintaining procurement registers, databases and reporting systems
- Assisting with contract compliance, governance and risk management activities
- Delivering training and guidance on procurement systems, processes and procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in procurement, contracts administration or contract management
- Knowledge of tendering and procurement principles and practices
- Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency using business systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Relevant qualifications in procurement, contracts management, business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
