Our client is a well-established residential developer with a strong reputation for delivering quality apartment, mixed-use and residential projects across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team.
Your new role
Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will be responsible for the commercial management of residential construction projects from procurement through to completion.
- Manage subcontractor procurement and tender processes.
- Prepare and administer subcontract agreements.
- Assess progress claims and variations.
- Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts.
- Manage contract documentation, RFIs and EOTs.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Assist with project reporting and commercial risk management.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within the Australian construction industry.
- Essential: Residential construction experience across apartments, townhouses, mixed-use or large-scale residential developments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, contracts, variations and cost control.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
