YOUR NEW ROLE

As a KEY member of this winning Construction Disputes/Litigation team (being led and mentored by internationally recognized award-winning construction litigation partners), representing blue-chip clients particularly in the energy, resources and infrastructure/construction sectors, you will love using a full-spectrum of traditional and non-traditional dispute resolution strategies to deliver creative, commercially practical and cost efficient solutions.

You will be acting on significant/complex disputes relating to:

  • Major projects disputes (eg design and construction of mines, oil& gas drilling, exploration, processing facilities, pipelines, materials handling plant, railways, civil works, offloading jetties and commercial/retail developments);
  • Engineering/architectural/project management disputes;
  • Construction/JV/supply/commercial contractual disputes;

in the Supreme and Federal Courts (including arbitrations, adjudication proceedings and mediations/conciliations) and local/international tribunals.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

  • are and admitted solicitor with minimum 2+ years POST-ADMISSION LITIGATION experience in CONSTRUCTION/PROJECTS/INFRASTRUCTURE AND/OR GENERAL COMMERCIAL disputes with a 1st/2nd-tier law firm or specialist boutique firm;
  • have a keen interest growing your expertise+ specialising in construction litigation;
  • have strong advocacy/negotiation skills+ a strong commercial acumen+ are a proven 'strategic' thinker;
  • have proven ability to manage client relationships;
  • are ambitious and want to be the best lawyer and holistic person you can be+ are hungry to learn from+ be inspired by 1st-class mentors+ colleagues;
