Join a growing Australian food manufacturing business where you'll work closely with an experienced Financial Controller in a broad Company Accountant role. You'll gain exposure across financial reporting, management accounting, business analysis and process improvement, making a genuine impact on a growing division of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Analyse financial results, trends and key performance indicators, providing meaningful insights to support business decisions.
- Partner with the Financial Controller on budgeting, forecasting, business analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage the accounts receivable function, including customer collections and payment arrangements.
- Prepare monthly BAS and GST returns.
- Coordinate foreign exchange contracts for international supplier payments.
- Support ad hoc projects and financial analysis across the business.
About You
You are a proactive and commercially minded accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and building relationships across the business.
You'll also bring:
- CA or CPA qualification, or be actively studying towards completion.
- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Assistant Accountant position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded.
