Cold Storage - High Reach Forklift Driver

Job description

Our client is one of Melbourne's leading Meat Processing Facilities, and they are on the hunt to add a High Reach Forklift Operator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for candidates who have experience working in cold-storage and freezer environments, working with packaged meat products and are looking for a temp-perm opportunity! 

About the role:

• LF Forklift operation
• Pick Packing
• Stock rotation 
• Freezer operation
• Warehouse duties
• Loading and unloading trucks 
• Replenishment and manual lifting 
• Pallet stacking and general labour 

Requirements:
In order to establish your career within this space, you will require the following attributes and attitude:

• Minimum 12 months of experience operating a LF Forklift
• Hold a valid LF Licence, High Reach experience is essential
• Have availability for 5 shifts a week, Monday-Friday
• Experience working in a cool room/ freezer environment (-22 degrees) is highly desirable 
• MUST be comfortable and able to work with packaged meat products
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• A strong safety focus
• Hold a current Driver's Licence and have reliable transport
