Client Service Officer (APS3)
Your new companyAn established Federal Government organisation is seeking multiple Client Service Officers to support the delivery of essential services to Australians. Working within a busy and collaborative team, you will provide high-quality customer service and administrative support in a professional environment.
Your new roleAs a Client Service Officer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers, stakeholders and service providers. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer enquiries via phone and other communication channels
- Processing service requests and administrative transactions in line with policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and customer data
- Preparing routine correspondence and documentation
- Assessing eligibility and escalating complex matters where required
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to support service delivery
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives
This is a full-time contract opportunity with an initial 6-month term and potential extension options.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in customer service, contact centres, administration or government environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work within established procedures
- A collaborative and professional approach to customer interactions
- Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
