The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a growing South Australian civil contractor that has recently secured more than $60M in new projects, creating genuine opportunities to expand its project delivery team.

With capabilities spanning civil infrastructure, structural concrete and large-scale landscaping, the business has delivered complex projects across South Australia and continues to build a strong forward pipeline.

They are now looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to take ownership of this project from inception through to completion while playing an important role in the business’s continued growth.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil projects, ensuring programme, commercial, quality and safety objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading civil projects from planning through to completion
• Developing and managing project programmes, budgets and delivery plans
• Coordinating project teams, subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders
• Managing commercial performance, forecasting and project reporting
• Conducting regular site visits and monitoring programme, quality and safety
• Identifying project risks and implementing practical solutions
• Building strong relationships with clients and key delivery partners
• Leading and supporting engineering and site teams throughout project delivery

We are looking for a Civil Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, leading teams and being involved across the full lifecycle of a project.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven Project Management experience within civil construction
• Exposure to a diverse range of civil and infrastructure projects
• A relevant Civil Engineering qualification will be highly regarded
• Strong commercial, programming and project delivery capability
• Confidence leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive approach to resolving project challenges
• The ability to perform effectively within a fast-paced project environment
