Civil Inspector
- Conduct inspections on precast hollow cast concrete products.

DRD Group are currently seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to join a fabrication yard operation in Herne Hill, WA . This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused inspection professional with strong experience in precast concrete products to support the manufacture and inspection of hollow cast concrete components.
The Opportunity
- Monday to Friday roster
- 6-8 week contract
- Fabrication yard environment
- Up to $110/hr + Super
- Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on precast hollow cast concrete products
- Verify compliance with project specifications and quality requirements
- Conduct concrete inspections and testing activities
- Monitor production tolerances and identify non-conformances
- Complete dimensional inspections and crack mapping assessments
- Review drawings and technical documentation to ensure product compliance
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Civil Inspector, QA/QC Inspector, Concrete Inspector or similar
- Strong experience working with precast concrete products
- Knowledge of AS 3600 Concrete Structures
- Experience with AS 1012 methods of testing concrete
- Sound understanding of concrete quality requirements and testing procedures
- Ability to interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
- Experience with dimensional control, tolerance verification and crack mapping
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
