Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Casual Educator to join our team in Blakehurst in New South Wales. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for children. As a Casual Educator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational development of children while ensuring their safety and well-being. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to providing high-quality education and care.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children’s learning and development.
• Support the Room Leader in managing daily operations and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
• Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in early childhood education.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organised learning space.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an educator in an early childhood setting.
• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning frameworks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
