About the role 

HomeStay Support services aim to prevent homelessness and help people maintain their independence through assisting individuals and families to keep their current tenancies. This support includes providing access to relevant services, social support networks, and addressing issues that could lead to homelessness. 

In this role you will provide individualised support to clients to achieve identified goals. You will collaborate with external agencies and organisations to source appropriate supports, contribute to co-design processes, and adapt and innovate ways of working to optimise client outcomes.

What you will bring 

• Prior experience in providing high quality, specialist casework support and case management
• Demonstrated understanding of how to holistically assess complex client needs
• Proven ability to identify service gaps and manage complex cases within a context of competing priorities
• Demonstrated cultural competence and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders 
• A current Working With Children’s Check and Australian Drivers Licence is mandatory

Further information  

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award – Level 4, base salary from $92,286.48 per annum + salary packaging + superannuation.
