Your new company
An established healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead the operational and commercial performance of a medical centre. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for driving financial outcomes, leading multidisciplinary teams, improving patient experience, and supporting healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to a commercially minded manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for people leadership, operational excellence, and business growth.
Your new role

  • Drive centre performance through effective budget management, P&L accountability, and delivery of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainable business growth
  • Lead, coach, and develop clinical and non-clinical teams, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
  • Manage workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare practitioners, ensuring a positive and productive working environment.
  • Implement strategic initiatives and operational improvements that enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Utilise financial and operational data to inform decision-making, track KPIs, and achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee facilities, procurement, inventory management, and third-party suppliers to ensure efficient central operations.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant policies, procedures, risk frameworks, and workplace health and safety requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Healthcare, medical, allied health, or service-based industry experience
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive financial performance.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, coaching, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience developing and executing business plans, KPIs, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Degree qualification in Business, Management, or a related discipline preferred.
