Travel Solutions Manager
Sydney | Full-time, hybrid | Base + commission
Our client is a well-established corporate travel management company built on relationships, not hierarchy. They're deliberately not a stiff, corporate TMC - the culture is relaxed, people-first, and genuinely collaborative, and it shows: staff retention speaks for itself.
The business is led on the philosophy of Ubuntu - “we are because of each other.” It's not a poster on the wall.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a Travel Solutions Manager to lead new business growth for the WA market. Based in the Perth office alongside a team of around 20, you'll take ownership of the region - identifying and winning new corporate travel clients, building lasting relationships, and shaping how the business's travel solutions are positioned across the state.
This is a genuine opportunity to build something locally, backed by the resources, systems, and support of a national group.
What You'll Do New Business & Sales
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities across the WA corporate travel sector.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build your pipeline through networking, industry events, and direct client engagement.
- Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches that showcase the business's travel management solutions.
- Lead contract negotiations, securing terms that work for both the client and the business.
Market & Client Focus
- Stay close to trends, competitor offerings, and technology shifts across the corporate travel landscape.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects across WA.
- Work with the Client Success and Operations teams to ensure new clients are set up for success from day one.
- Represent the business at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build its profile in the WA market.
Performance & Reporting
- Track your sales performance and pipeline through the CRM, keeping it accurate and current.
- Report regularly on progress against targets, with insights for continuous improvement.
About You
- Significant experience in a business development or sales management role, ideally within a TMC - hospitality or hotel sales backgrounds are also welcome.
- A proven track record of winning and growing business in the SME market.
- An existing network and strong local presence in the Perth market - this role needs someone who's already plugged in.
- Confident using a CRM, with strong Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with Sabre and/or Tramada is a bonus.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and comfort with data and reporting.
- A genuine team player - this is a collaborative group, and they're looking for people who want to build something together rather than go it alone.
- Values that align with Ubuntu - altruism, authenticity, collaboration, courage, and curiosity.
- A real passion for the travel industry, and a growth mindset to match.
What's on Offer
- Hybrid working - three days in the office, two days from home.
- A genuinely supportive, family-oriented culture backed by a national group.
- The chance to shape a market with real autonomy and the backing of an established brand.
If this sounds like your next move, we'd love to hear
