The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administration Trainee to join the team at AGL Energy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable administration and reception experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification with one of Australia’s largest energy providers.
Working alongside experienced administration professionals, you'll develop practical business skills in a supportive environment while contributing to a well-respected organisation that provides valuable community services.
Duties May Include
- Providing general administrative support to the office team
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Managing and maintaining filing and record systems
- Data entry and document processing
- Assisting with customer service and client communications
- Supporting day-to-day office operations
- Learning industry systems and processes
- Note taking and minute taking at meetings
Location: Mt Beauty, Victoria
Employment Type: Full-Time Traineeship (38 hours per week)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
This position is a 12-month role and would suit a recent school leaver or someone wanting to take a gap year and earn a qualification while doing so.

About You
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with the right to work in Australia
- Completed Year 10 or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications
- Professional presentation and phone manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
