Boretech Contracting is a professional and established civils company based in Perth & Kalgoorlie WA. Our primary focus is to install underground infrastructure.

We are currently looking to fill the following full time roles:

• Drill Supervisor - HDD
• Directional Driller
• Excavator Operator
• Truck Driver

DRILLER SUPERVISOR - HDD

You will be supervising HDD crews and taking full control of day-to-day site operations on gas and electrical infrastructure works.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience and capability working as an HDD Supervisor
• Demonstrated experience working on Atco Gas and/or Western Power projects
• Certificate III in Directional Drilling
• Ability to read and interpret BYDA plans
• Current WA driver's licence
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Good reputation with clean, verifiable references

A salary of $150,000 + super will be offered to the successful candidate.

DIRECTIONAL DRILLER

We're also seeking an experienced driller with a proven track record. You must be able to operate a range of medium/large earthmoving machinery and work confidently under limited supervision.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Certificate III in Directional Drilling
• Valid HR licence
• Must be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
• Good reputation and clean references
• Organised, motivated, reliable, with strong planning skills
• Strong character - hardworking, fair, and professional
• Ability to work within a crew with positive outlook
• Solid communication skills within the Boretech team
• Excavator / Operator ticket
• Ability to read BYDA & construction plans
• Ability to plan bore path & track drill head proficiently

Preferred:

• ATCO Gas certified to drill and work on the network
• NAC Card
• NBN enabled
• Experience with Vermeer Dual Rod & Ditch Witch All Terrain equipment
• Willing to work regional when needed

A salary of $98,000 - $110,000 + super will be offered to the successful candidate.

EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

You must hold a minimum HR Drivers licence, nationally accredited excavator ticket, and have a minimum of 2 years recent experience in operating various makes and models of Excavators from 1.5 to 8 Ton in size.

Essential:

• Ability to read and understand BYDA drawings
• Experience in excavation for installation services trenching, excavating around live services, general earthworks as well as some rock breaking experience.
• Able to follow instructions, get on well with customers onsite and the ability to work with minimal supervision will be highly regarded.
• Able to pass drug and alcohol screen on request.
• Current Blue/White Card.
• Must have own daily transport

A salary of $80,000 + super will be offered to the successful candidate.

TRUCK DRIVER

You will be responsile for operating heavy trucks, vac trucks,  flatbeds, low-beds to transport construction equipment. You must hold a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (class appropriate to vehicle type) and have a minimum of 2-3 years experience driving heavy vehicles in construction, civil works or quarry settings.

Essential:

• Knowledge of construction site hazards and safety protocols
• Skilled in maneuvering large vehicles in tight or uneven site conditions
• Relevant endorsements for specialized vehicles ( low-bed/trailer) if applicable
• Site safety induction certificate / construction safety card (as required locally)

A salary of $80,000 + super will be offered to the successful candidate.
