Boilermakers – NSW | DIDO | Shutdown Project
2XM Recruit are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to join a major power station shutdown project in NSW, commencing in early September.
The shutdown is expected to run through to at least the end of November, with the potential to transition onto a new project once the shutdown is complete.
The Role
- Boilermaker / Fabrication work
- Power station shutdown environment
- Work involving ducts and air heaters
- 6 days per week
- 11-hour days
- Project expected to run until at least the end of November
- Potential opportunity to move onto a new project following completion
- Candidates will be required to remain on site for the duration of the project, with the exception of rostered days off
- Candidates living close enough to site able to travel home on their day off
Accommodation & Allowances
You will have the option of:
- Company-provided accommodation + meal allowance, or
- LAHA if you prefer to arrange your own accommodation, have a caravan, or have your own suitable living arrangements.
A reliable vehicle is essential. There is no bus or transport provided between the accommodation and site, so you will need to be able to drive yourself to and from site and your accommodation.
Requirements
- Boilermaker / Fabrication Trade Certificate
- White Card
- Confined Space
- Adflo Helmet
- Working at Heights – desirable
- Previous shutdown / power station experience highly regarded
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel to and from site
