About this opportunity:
Our Sun Valley store in Gladstone is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and help lead the store's bakery department.
Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!
Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
- Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ability to order and control costs
- An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations
- Accurate team rostering
- Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
- Unparalleled commitment to customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to liaise with both team members and management
- A flair for merchandising
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to coach, train and performance manage teams
