Position
Reporting to the Finance Manager:
- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across shared services and local teams, including supervision and backup support
- Manage payment processing, including setting up payments and overseeing bank reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet reviews and P&L analysis
- Prepare cash flow forecasts (weekly and monthly) to support financial planning
- Maintain and reconcile inventory ledgers, including product costing analysis and updates
- Assist with statutory compliance and reporting, including BAS, GST, FBT and audit requirements
- Maintain fixed asset register, intercompany reconciliations, and ensure strong stakeholder engagement with internal teams and external partners
Profile
- Proven experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role
- Strong administrative and practical skillset
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across departments
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and systems proficiency
- Self-motivated, proactive
