Position
Reporting to the Finance Manager:

  • Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across shared services and local teams, including supervision and backup support
  • Manage payment processing, including setting up payments and overseeing bank reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet reviews and P&L analysis
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts (weekly and monthly) to support financial planning
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory ledgers, including product costing analysis and updates
  • Assist with statutory compliance and reporting, including BAS, GST, FBT and audit requirements
  • Maintain fixed asset register, intercompany reconciliations, and ensure strong stakeholder engagement with internal teams and external partners

Profile

  • Proven experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role
  • Strong administrative and practical skillset
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across departments
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and systems proficiency
  • Self-motivated, proactive
