Job Description

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support organisational objectives.
• Create, review, and edit content for various communication channels, including digital platforms and print materials.
• Coordinate and manage media relations, including drafting press releases and responding to media enquiries.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives.
• Provide expert advice on communication best practices to internal teams.
• Ensure all communication materials align with organisational branding and guidelines.
• Support crisis communication efforts as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Communications Advisor - AO5 should have:

• Relevant qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in creating and implementing communication strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience managing media relations and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced public sector environment.
