The Opportunity

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to work Part Time 56 Hours per fortnight at our Cootamundra Facility.

What you will be doing

  • Help older adults stay strong, independent and engaged through meaningful exercise programs.
  • Deliver functional fitness groups, re-enablement activities and personalised 1:1 support.
  • Work alongside Physiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals to support resident wellbeing.
  • Coordinate wellness gyms, ensuring equipment is safe, accessible and engaging.
  • Make a genuine difference by motivating residents to move with confidence and achieve their goals.
  • Join a progressive, client-focused organisation that values your ideas and invests in your development.
  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy) or equivalent such as Certificate III or IV in Fitness
  • Experience in physiotherapy assistance
  • Have knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe and effective exercise within the aging population
  • A warm, friendly and empathic approach with a passion for Aged Care
  • Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills are essential
  • Computer literacy skills such as using mobile devices and web applications a must
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including the ability to work within the scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising Physiotherapist/Allied Health Professional
  • NDIS Check
