All Rounder Labourer/ Roller Operator

Civil Roller Operator / Labourer – Rochedale

$40–$45/hr + penalties | 6+ months | Genuine opportunity to continue longer term

We’re looking for a good all-round Civil Operator / Labourer to join a civil crew on a project at Rochedale.

This isn't a role for someone who only wants to sit in a machine all day.
We’re looking for someone who has worked with smaller civil crews or subcontractors, where everyone wears a few hats and gets stuck in wherever they’re needed.

The role There will be some operating, particularly smaller pavement rollers, mixed with general civil labouring and helping the crew get the job done.

The project has at least 6 months of work remaining, but for the right person there is a genuine opportunity to stay with the supervisor and continue onto future projects.

They’re not in a huge rush to fill the position. They would rather wait and find someone good who they can take along for the ride longer term.

What we're looking for

• Civil construction experience
• Experience operating rollers or similar civil plant
• Happy to get off the machine and work on the ground
• Comfortable working in a smaller crew
• Someone who can look around, see what needs doing and get into it
• Reliable and easy to work with
• Willing to have a crack and see things that need to be done before asking
• Roller ticket / relevant plant tickets preferred
• Construction White Card

Pay $40–$45 per hour + penalties, depending on experience and what you can bring to the crew.

This could really suit someone who has spent time working for smaller civil contractors and enjoys being an all-rounder rather than being boxed into one job.
