About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Advisor, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to join the dnata catering & retail team at our exciting new facility at Western Sydney International Airport.

Reporting to the Manager, Health, Safety & Environment NSW/ACT, you will play a key role in establishing and embedding a strong safety culture across our operations. Working in a dynamic and growing environment, you will support the delivery of HSE initiatives, drive safety performance, ensure compliance, and assist with rehabilitation and return-to-work programs, helping set the foundation for success at this landmark new site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support workplace safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with hazard identification, incident investigations and reporting.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, audits and compliance activities.
  • Deliver HSE inductions and promote safe work practices.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records and reporting systems.
  • Monitor safety performance and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Support rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
  • Partner with operational leaders to foster a safety-first culture.

About You

  • 2 year’s experience in a Health, Safety & Environment, WHS or Safety Advisor role.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing, food production, logistics, or similar high-volume operational environment.
  • Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and practices.
  • Experience conducting investigations, inspections and audits.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and record management systems.
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator training (RRTWC) highly regarded.
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification desirable.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
