Your new role
Reporting to the Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices within the ERP system.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Prepare and process electronic payment runs.
- Reconcile corporate credit card accounts.
- Process employee expense claims.
- Set up and maintain supplier records.
- Manage accounts payable correspondence and shared mailboxes.
Accounts Receivable
- Process customer receipts and allocations.
- Follow up outstanding payments and assist with debt collection.
- Reconcile customer accounts and payments.
Finance Administration
- Complete transactions and reconciliations ahead of month-end deadlines.
- Assist with month-end reporting and finance processes.
- Maintain accurate records across finance systems and documentation platforms.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required.
What you'll need to succeed
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in accounts administration, with strong exposure to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong reconciliation skills.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Positive, proactive and team-oriented approach.
