About the Role We are seeking an Accountant with 1–3 years' experience to join the finance team and work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career Accountant looking to build their experience within a successful property development business. You’ll gain broad exposure across the finance function while working alongside experienced finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- General ledger maintenance
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Prepare financial information and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support the Financial Controller and CFO with ad hoc finance requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with process improvements
About You
- 1–3 years' accounting experience
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles
- Experience with an ERP or accounting system
- MYOB experience would be highly regarded
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive and eager to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, personable attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Property or construction experience would be advantageous
