Position: 6G Welder
- Roster: 5:2 - 10Hr days - Ongoing
- Location: Alcoa Wagerup refinery
- Daily DIDO – No Accommodation provided
Rates & Benefits
- Casual Rate - $62.12/hr
- Base rate penalties after 7.5hrs - $74.54/hr
- Base rate penalties after 9.5hrs - $99.39/hr
Additional Information: DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) role - no accommodation provided Daily travel allowance ($0-$82 depending on distance)
Scope of Work: Mechanical Capital Project works (Piping and Structural)
Requirements:
- Australian Trade Certificate (Boilermaker/Welder or equivalent)
- Demonstrated 6G welding experience
- White Card
- Working at Heights & Confined Spaces (within 2 years)
- Current driver's licence and own transport
- Must be able to pass a VOC (6G Welds – TIG or Stick)
- Rope access ticket - Highly regarded
